Distribution Transformers filled with MIDEL 7131
Distribution Transformers
MIDEL natural and synthetic esters are all designed to be used with distribution transformers. MIDEL eN 1204, MIDEL eN 1215 and MIDEL 7131 each offer different advantages under certain conditions, allowing you to specify the transformer oil that best suits your requirements.
Fire Safe Transformer Fluids
As distribution transformers are often located near or inside buildings, fire safety is a vital factor when selecting or specifying a transformer oil. MIDEL transformer fluids have a 100% fire safety record and are classified as K-class fluids with a high fire point of >300°C to IEC 61039.
MIDEL fluids are also listed as FM® Approved Less-Flammable Transformer Fluid. The use of such a fluid reduces fire risk and can potentially reduce installation and insurance costs. FM Approved liquid filled transformers can be installed indoors, and the fluids have also been awarded the UL® classification – EOUV dielectric medium, and carry the UL Classified Mark, the trusted symbol for product safety.
Why select MIDEL ester fluids for Distribution Transformers?
